We have had a lot of people messaging us over the last few weeks asking us if we have played all the way to the end of career mode on FIFA 14. WELL OF COURSE WE HAVE!! WE BLOOMIN LOVE CAREER MODE!! That outburst aside we have decided to reveal it here on Fifa Blogger, and also suggest a couple of ways it could be improved when FIFA 15 comes onto the market next month.

Basically to sum it up you have got a 15 season limit on your career. After this you are essentially forced to retire regardless of where you are at with your club. So if you are dedicated to your career and reach the 2026/27 season, be prepared to make it a good one. It will be your last. To our knowledge there has been no glitch to get past this point, but hopefully FIFA 15 will offer release.
FIFA is very proud of its realism in almost every aspect of the game. From its gameplay, to its stadiums, kits and badges. As we have revealed on Fifa blogger, this years installment promises to be the best yet, however they really do need to tackle this career mode issue.

It is a real problem you can only play for 15 years, as nearly every manager in the modern game has a career lasts way beyond this length of time. Sir Alex was far from young when he started and look how long he stuck around for. With the amount of regens FIFA 14 created through the scouting system, it is not impossible to keep career mode going for double its current limit. They could also consider adding the old system they used. This is when one player retires from your team, a young player in the same position and having the same nationality is created to replace him. They could either place him straight in the youth team or preferably, in the free agents or scouting area.

Hopefully FIFA 15 will deal with this issue and give all our dedicated career mode fans even greater depth and realism.
